I can’t tell you how excited I was to be invited back to Swindon this year as part of their Youth Festival of Literature. It is an incredible Festival jam-packed with authors visits, competitions, special events and book signings. The team work so hard to make sure that students right across the town of Swindon – secondary and primary – are offered loads of chances to have fun with books and stories.
I was thrilled to be asked to make two visits to the main Festival this year and look for new secrets breakers and code detectives. And I had so much fun. So much so that I was asked back at the end of the Festival to make a third extra visit. (You know how I like the power of three!)
So…check back soon to see amazing photos of displays from my trips to Swindon. I can’t thank the librarians enough for working so hard to make me feel so welcome and for all the students who had fun with the codes!
